I just had one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time at Dano’s Pizza by the Shore, and I can’t stop thinking about it. If you’re anywhere near the coast and craving authentic, delicious pizza and subs, this place is an absolute must-visit.We ordered a 12 inch cheese pizza, and it was fantastic. The crust was perfect thin and crispy on the edges with just the right amount of chew in the middle, nicely blistered from a hot oven. The sauce is bright and tangy with fresh herbs, and the mozzarella is high quality gooey, stretchy, and generously applied without any greasiness. Every bite tasted fresh, balanced, and packed with flavor. This is the kind of pizza that reminds you why pizza is one of the greatest foods on earth. But the real standout was the meatball sub we ended up getting three of them because they were that good! The meatballs are massive, tender, and incredibly flavorful (clearly made in-house with a perfect blend of spices). They’re smothered in rich marinara sauce and buried under a blanket of melted provolone and mozzarella that gets beautifully browned. The roll is soft but sturdy enough to hold everything together. The food was amazing and the workers were so friendly! Between my group, we got the baked ziti, the chicken parm, the meatball sub, the Stromboli, the antipasto, garlic knots, and cheesy bread. Oh and also a small pizza. The consensus across the board was that everything was fantastic! And the portions were large. It is a smaller place so if you choose to dine in there's not much room. Also it was very hot inside, but the food made it worth it. 😁

Recently moved to the area, and this is by far the best pizza I've had here. Thin, crispy crust and super tasty. And the meatball sub is absolutely delicious, and always friendly service!

We saw a video and went today to test it out. We ordered the meatball sub which was absolutely excellent Perfect Crunch to the bread and the meatballs my husband’s still talking about it five hours later. We also ordered the margarita pizza that was just as tasty undercarriage and flop was perfect We are from Connecticut and Long Island so finding a good pizza. Parlor is hard to find. Definitely do a stop by and taste it out yourself. Very comfortable place small but comfortable Hometown feelings
